MANAGING THE LARGEST MOBILISATION OF A NEW METRO IN THE RECENT HISTORY
With Horizons Partners’ support, FLOW, a consortium between Hitachi Rail, Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane (FS) and Alstom, was awarded the operation and maintenance of lines 3, 4, 5 and 6 of Riyadh Metro in November 2018.
Horizons Partners was entrusted by the operating company of the consortium to plan, coordinate and deliver the following mobilisation activities:
- O&M Documentation - all OCC, Station and Train Operations Procedures & Instructions, HSQE Management Systems, Emergency Procedures, Trial Running Test Cases
- Operations Training Services - development of all training material, joint training delivery, management and scheduling of training to 1,500 staff
- IT Solutions - Programme Management of IT Delivery (19 workstreams), Subject Matter Expertise in MMIS (Maximo), ERP (SAP), Integrations, Cybersecurity…, Design and Implementation of Operations Companion
- Corporate Start-Up Support - Development of HR, Finance & Procurement procedures; HR and Onboarding advisory; RFP management for Total Facility Management Services and IT design and implementation services.
